<p>An ostomy bag (10) having a drainage aperture (13) and a sealing device (16) provided for selectively sealing the drainage aperture (13) which is integral with the ostomy bag (10), wherein the integral sealing device (16) includes a first elongate element (17) secured to an outer surface (11a) of a first outer wall (11) of the ostomy bag (10) adjacent the drainage aperture (13) and a second elongate element (18) which is operatively connected to the first elongate element (17), at a first end of each elongate element, by a flexible hinge member (19), and characterised in that the integral sealing device (16) further includes a first closure member (20) at the second end of the first elongate element (17), and a second closure member (21) at the second end of the second elongate element (18), the first and second closure members (20, 21) being engageable to secure the first and second elongate elements (17, 18) together to seal the drainage aperture (13). <IMAGE></p> |
