A pipe coating comprising a bitumen composition obtainable by mixing bitumen and a premixed additive comprising i) from 20 to 90 % by weight of one or more block copolymers of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene based on total additive, ii) from 1 to 20 % by weight of carbon black, based on total additive, and iii) from 10 to 70 % by weight of a mixing aid, based on total additive, wherein the bitumen composition may optionally contain a filler; coated pipes and a process for preparing coated pipes.
