METHOD FOR CURING TIRE TUBE

PURPOSE: A curing method for a tire tube is provided to reduce the curing time and to improve the property of a tube by continuously checking the hardness of a tube during curing. CONSTITUTION: A tire tube is cured by curing a ring shaped half-finished tube(20) in a curing mold(10) heated at a specific temperature. During curing, air as a pressure medium in the tube is discharged out of the curing mold through a tube valve(22) and an inner pressure line connecting portion(11b) to space a body(21) of the tube from the tube fixing surfaces of upper and lower molds(11,12). Thereafter, the cured tube is taken out of the curing mold by opening the upper and lower molds. Herein, a hardness sensor(30) is installed in a position where the thickest portion of the tube contacts with the curing mold. The hardness sensor continuously detects the hardness of the thickest portion of the tube. Corresponding to the hardness, curing is stopped or continued.
