REPRESENTATIVE SIZE ROLLING METHOD THROUGH ANALYSIS OF ORDER ACCEPTANCE IN MINI MILL PROCESS

PURPOSE: A representative size rolling method through analysis of order acceptance in the mini mill process is provided to increase reliability and economic efficiency by periodically reading cumulative data of statistical database, and setting the representative size in case of rolling in a representative size when something is wrong with the quality by predicting quality of continuous casting in the mini mill process. CONSTITUTION: In a rolling method in the mini mill process comprising a process planning system planning and managing the total process, a casting process control system controlling the casting process and a rolling process control system controlling the rolling process, the representative size rolling method through analysis of order acceptance in the mini mill process comprises the steps of analyzing order results by cumulating order information in the statistical management database and having the process planning system read a certain portion of values cumulated in the statistical management database, thereby setting representative thickness per types of steel based on the amount of order acceptance(S101-S102,S201-S203); and controlling the rolling process control system so that rolling operation is proceeded to an original order thickness when the rolling directed material is not different from the predicted material received and the rolling operation is proceeded in a representative thickness corresponding to the present conditions based on representative thickness per types of steel set in the process planning system by comparing a rolling directed material with a predicted material received after the rolling process control system receives quality prediction information from the casting process control system(S301-S306).
