PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structure for absorbing vibration in conjunction with, particularly, earthquake or traffic and improving the durability of works including a building. SOLUTION: A lower-side vibration isolating material 5 and an upper-side vibration isolating material 6 are inserted between a foundation 1 and a groundsill 3 and between the groundsill 3 and a nut 4 threaded to an anchor bolt 2, respectively, for preventing the escape of a column and the anchor bolt during pitching and absorbing the offset positional relationship between the foundation 1 and the groundsill 4 during resting and the vertical bending of the groundsill 3. A horizontal vibration isolating material 8 is arranged between the peripheral face of a loose hole 7 of the groundsill 3 and the anchor bolt 2 and a spherical body 9 is put between the foundation 1 and the groundsill 3 for preventing the escape of a tenon during rolling, the offset positional relationship between the foundation 1 and the groundsill 3 during resting and the lateral bending or distortion of the groundsill 3.
