PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a workability by speeding up or slowing down a speed change gear according to a vehicle's advance or retreat as well as promptly speeding up the speed change gear according to a work to a work in a load control device of a working vehicle slowing down the speed change gear when a work load exceeds a determined value. SOLUTION: When working load increases on the vehicle's retreat and a revolution of determined slow down need is reached, a main change gear is reduced to lower gear by one step with giving a slow down command to the speed change gear. When a advance and retreat selector is positioned at a neutral or retreat position, the slow down command is retained even if the revolution of slow down need is reached.
