摘要 PURPOSE: An optical/electric converting apparatus in a digital temperature control method is provided to improve a degradation phenomenon of an electric signal according to a temperature change of a laser diode and obtain more stable operation range by digitally implementing an analog type laser diode stabilizing apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor(50) digitally reads a temperature by a certain period and transfers it to a CPU(60). Current controllers(40A,40B) control current values according to a current control value corresponding to the current temperature value read by an EEPROM(70). An input interfacing unit(10) performs an input impedance interfacing between an electric signal and a laser diode and includes an inductance and capacitance components for interfacing according to a frequency of the inputted electric signal. A variable attenuator(20) corrects the electric signal showing a change in its size of a temperature coefficient according to a temperature while passing a silicon group semiconductor and uses a pin diode. A laser diode unit(30) converts the electric signal to a light signal and corrects an operation current according to a temperature. The current controllers(40A,40B) correct the operation currents of the variable attenuator(20) and the laser diode unit(30) according to a temperature, receives a digital data from the CPU(60), converts the data to an analog type and provides it. The temperature sensor(50) senses a temperature of a light/electric module and transfers it to the CPU(60). The CPU(60) performs a command to control to read a peripheral temperature, compute an amount of a correction current and provide it.
