PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient image forming method which achieves the lower electric power, lower calorific value, higher-speed reading and lower noise of high-density silver halide color photographic sensitive materials of which the processing is ended in the state of having silver halide and developing silver and an image input device useing the same. SOLUTION: This image forming method for forming the digital images by obtaining different color analyzed image information across an image input medium from the image recording information recorded on the silver halide color photographic sensitive materials for photography is characterized in that the image reading of the silver halide color photographic sensitive materials for photography is carried out by a light source which instantaneously emits light.
