<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and low-cost optical information processor capable of accurately performing optical image processing to a large capacity of an image. SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of this invention, an optical information processor is provided which comprises an emitting means for emitting polarized light, a reflection type spatial light modulator, an optical path via which a luminous flux from the above emitting means is made incident on the above reflection type spatial light modulator, and a polarized light beam splitter for separating an optical path for separating the optical path reflected by the above reflection type spatial light modulator, and is characterized in being configured so that the optical path of the above incident luminous flux is positioned almost at the center of the incident angle range of a light beam in which the above polarized light beam splitter shows a high extinction ratio.</p> |
