PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical simulation method and an optical simulator for facilitating the simulation of a free-curved surface by directly performing the optical simulation without being made into numerical formula. SOLUTION: For example, light 41a made incident on an optical element 50 is plotted as reflected light 41h by being decided as a straight line by a vector calculation. By repeatedly plotting in such a way, a light track from alight source to a light recognizing element is plotted.
