PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent water drip causing steam explosion case when restraining by spraying water red fume generated when molten metal such as molten iron or molten steel, is poured. SOLUTION: For example, when the molten iron is poured into a molten iron ladle 5A from a mixer car 2A, a water atomizing mechanism 13 is arranged at the upper part of the molten iron ladle 5A, and the steam is generated by spraying water to the molten iron stream from this water atomizing mechanism 13 to restrain or prevent the generation of the red fume. At this time, when the pouring of the molten metal is started, the water supply is started after supplying gas for purging into the water atomizing mechanism 13, and thereafter, only the water is sprayed after stopping the supply of the gas for purging, and the water supply is stopped after again supplying the gas for purging at completing of the molten metal pouring and lastly, the supply of the gas for purging is stopped.
