PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition low in hygroscopic property, birefringence and dielectric constant, and superior in fluidity. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains polymers (A), (B) and/or (C). Polymer (A) contains at least one indene or its derivative represented by a general formula (1) (wherein, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 may be the same or different and are each H, univalent hydrocarbon group containing nitrogen atom, oxygen atom or silicon atom, 1-6C alkyl group or univalent aromatic hydrocarbon group; (x) is an integer of 0 or 1 to 4; (y) is an integer of 1 to 4 and x+y=4. The polymer (B) is a copolymer that has a higher-order structure like a star composed of polystyrene or its derivative and indene or its derivative represented by the formula (1), and polymer (C) is a polymer composed of a monomer copolymerizable with styrene or its derivative.
