PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the use of a power generating device and prevent loosening of a seatbelt so as to cause upward movement of a movement stopping member positioned under the front section of the seat part of a seat in a vehicle seat structure in which the movement stopping member is moved upward to prevent a seated occupant from moving forward relative to the seat and sinking. SOLUTION: A second support member 5 for supporting the seat part 1a of the seat 1 is moved forward by a forward inertial force, and the movement stopping member 8 is provided which is located under the seat part 1a of the seat 1 and moved upwards to prevent a seated occupant from moving forward relative to the seat part 1a of the seat 1. A linkage means 6 is provided for mechanically transmitting to the member 8 the forward displacement of the second support member 5 caused by a forward inertial force so as to move the member 8 upward.
