PURPOSE: Provided is a mass-production method of fruit bodies of Cordyceps scarabaeicola kobayasi by culturing Cordyceps scarabaeicola kobayasi in a culture broth containing carbon source, nitrogen source and water to prepare high quality of spawn strains without contamination by other germs; and growing the liquid spawn strains in a medium containing grain granules and powdery silkworm pupae. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: culturing mycelium of Cordyceps scarabaeicola kobayasi in a plate; pre-culturing the cultured mycelium by shacking-culturing it in a medium containing 2-7%(w/v) of carbon source, 0.1-1.0%(w/v) of nitrogen source, 0-0.15%(w/v) of KH2PO4, 0-0.15%(w/v) of MgSO4·7H2O and the balance of distilled water, at 22-30 deg.C, 80-200rpm for 7-10 days; inoculating pre-cultured inoculant into a culture broth in a ratio of culture broth to inoculant being 20-200:1 then submerged-culturing it at 22-28 deg.C with 0.1-1.0 vvm of sterilized air, for 5-12 days, to prepare liquid spawn strains; smearing the liquid spawn strains on a medium containing grain granules and silkworm pupae powders in an aseptic room; culturing the medium at 24 deg.C to grow mycelium then forming fruit bodies at 20 deg.C and growing them. |
