PURPOSE: To provide a lifter having good operability with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: This lifter is provided with a first plate 600 fixed to a frame, and a second plate 700 turned following an operating handle 950 interposed between a lock plate 800 and the first plate 600 with the lock plate 800 penetrating a center shaft 601 between the first plate 600 and a lift gear 900. One end part of the lock plate 800 is provided with a feed projection 850, and the other end part thereof is opposite to a lock gear 930. The second plate 700 is composed so as to allow the lock plate 800 to engage with and disengage from the lock gear 930 and the lift gear 900 of the feed projection 850 according to the operation of the operating handle 950.
