PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating opening for a building, which changes the opening ratio of an air inlet passage of the ventilating opening depending on external wind pressure, to thereby regulate an inflow quantity of air and prevent occurring of condensation. SOLUTION: The ventilating opening is formed of a cylindrical body which is penetrated through a wall surface of the building and includes the air introducing passage for taking outside air into a room. The cylindrical body houses therein a flow rate regulating plate for blocking the air introducing passage, and the flow rate regulating plate has a spring attached thereto, whereby the opening degree of the flow rate regulating plate is regulated depending on a spring force and wind pressure. Further, a decorative cover which is upward openable is attached to the tip of the cylindrical body, and a heat insulating material is arranged on a rear surface of the decorative cover. |
