PURPOSE: A method for living information service using the Internet is provided to enable a user to get necessary information easily by matching each company information to vectorial location within a map. CONSTITUTION: If a user connects to a server through the Internet and clicks a living information service area, name, location or a type of business of a company is displayed for input, so that each item of the company is input. In case of inputting the name, a controller of the sever finds information of the company having the corresponding name from the first storage area of a memory for reading data of map information and company information. In case of inputting the location and the type of business, the controller of the server searches the company of the same business located in the corresponding place for displaying characteristics together with the name of the company. If the user clicks the desired company, the controller reads map data and company data of the corresponding company. The controller displays on a screen of the user to input current location(31) and outputs map data corresponding to a path leads to the location of the company based on the current location information(32) for displaying map data to the screen of the user vectorially(33). Traffic information of public transportation leading to a destination from the current location is searched(34) and traffic information of a path where a vehicle can be used is searched(35) for being displayed, so that the user reaches the destination(36). If the user sets up the desired area or inputs the name of small or large area, a reduced scale of the map is calculated the corresponding size of the map is displayed and the advertisement data is read from the second storage area of the memory and displayed successively(37-45). If the user clicks the displayed area of the company, company information of the corresponding company and an Internet phone service are displayed so that the desired service is selected. If the user wants company information, company data is outputted to enable purchase or reservation.
