PURPOSE: A method for increasing or stimulating appetite in a patient which comprises administering a certain growth hormone secretagogue, a prodrug thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the secretagogues or the prodrug is provided. Whereby, the medicine is effective in the treatment of a patient suffering from an eating disorder or a nutritional disorder or the like. CONSTITUTION: This medicine contains a compound of formula 1 or a stereoisomer mixture thereof, a partially stereoisomerically superior, partially stereoisomerically pure, enantiomerically superior, enantiomerically pure isomer thereof, a prodrug of the compound, mixture or isomer, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, mixture or isomer, or a tautomer of the compound.
