A stroller with a brake device 10 having a mounting seat 2 mounted between two upright rear rods (15, Fig 1) of the stroller. An operating member 3 has a portion 32 with a slot 321 slidably receiving a retaining rod 31 on the mounting seat, an operating portion 33, and a downward extension 34 pivotally connected to transverse linking rods 50 which are pivotally connected to two brake members 4. The brake members 4 are pivoted to the rear rods 15 at pivots 40. Moving the operating member 3 rearwardly results in stop projections 41 on the brake members 4 engaging in grooves 163 of the two rear wheels 16 to stop rotation of the same, and moving the operating member 3 forwardly from its rearward position releases the brakes.
