PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device wherein power consumption is reduced and a light source illuminates liquid crystal panels in an optimum position even if the angle formed by a first and a second cases is changed. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a first liquid crystal display part 2 having a first liquid crystal panel 3 and a first case 4, a second liquid crystal display part 9 having a second liquid crystal panel 10 and a second case 11, and a third case 15 having a hinge rotatably supporting the first case 4 and the second case 11. The light source 21 illuminating both the first and the second liquid crystal panels 3 and 10 is disposed in the third case 15.
