PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the filling property of a resin granulated resin powder in a metal mold, capable of judging the propriety of the filling property of a granulated PTFE powder in any given metal mold. SOLUTION: When the granulated powder M of a polytetrafluoroethylene- based resin is filled in the metal mold 4 of an automatic molding device 1, the granulated powder M is agglutinated by a prescribed tapping processing, and the agglutination of the tapping-processed granulating powder M is measured. The granulating powder M is agglutinated by a prescribed tapping processing, and the collapsibility of the tapping-processed granulated powder M is measured. On the basis of the values of the measured agglutination and collapsibility and the cavity size in the metal mold 4 in which the granulating powder M is filled, the propriety as to the filling property of the granulated powder M in the metal mold 4 is determined.
