PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of local stress due to extraction prevention force applied to a spigot projecting part provided on an outside face of a spigot in a spigot ring forming the spigot projecting part in an antiseismic joint. SOLUTION: The pipe coupling for preventing extraction of the spigot 6 by engaging a lock ring 4 stored in a storing groove 2b formed on an inside face of a socket 2 and a peripheral direction projecting part 6a formed on the outside face of the spigot 6 is constituted by making a surface on a side facing to the lock ring 4 of the spigot ring 10 forming the peripheral projecting part 6a as a tapered surface 10c reduced in diameter as the surface approaches the lock ring 4.
