PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the generation of red fume when molten metal such as molten iron or molten steel, is poured. SOLUTION: For example, when the molten iron is poured into a molten iron ladle 5A from a mixer car 2A, a water atomizing mechanism 8 is arranged at the upper part of the molten iron ladle 5A and steam is generated by spraying water to the molten iron stream from this water atomizing mechanism 8 and oxygen concentration in the molten iron ladle 5A is lowered to <=12%, desirably <=8% to restrain or prevent the generation of the red fume.
