PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact discharger operatable without lowering the efficiency of a kiln (electric power and fuel consumptions) in case that the firing output is increased, which to controls the discharging capacity continuously to make the kiln run stably and continuously. SOLUTION: The distance between the both centers of a feeding chute 28 and a discharging chute 32 in an airtight discharger 26 is set to be shorter than the radius of the base of heap formed by cement rawmeal agglomerates to have an angle of repose. The agglomerates are discharged by gravitational falling. An assistant gate 38 is set at the horizontal part 30 and a discharging gate 36 at the discharging chute 32, where the discharging rate is controlled by changing the opening space of both gates. Compressed air is introduced from an assistant discharging unit 52 to blow off clogged agglomerates.
