PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cleaning an oil pan for passenger conveyor, which can perform cleaning in a short time without forcing a great deal of labor upon maintenance personnel. SOLUTION: This purpose can be achieved by reciprocating a cleaning tool 1 between a cleaning tool mounting opening 26 and a dust recovering opening 27 by rotating a drive electric motor 17 for moving a front wheel shaft 7 by means of a low speed operation device 24 at a low speed in the normal and inverse directions.
