PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount and demount a paper feeding unit while reducing an opening space of a cover in an image forming device. SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises a paper feeding unit 28 demountably mounted and having a paper feeding roller for taking out only an uppermost sheet from the stacked paper to guide the same to a conveying path, the cover 34 rotatably held at a first rotating fulcrum, and opened from an upper part toward this side lower part on the first rotating fulcrum in demounting the paper feeding unit 28 from a device, and a guide member 35 rotatably held by the cover 34 through a second rotating fulcrum located in parallel with the first rotating fulcrum at the other end of the first rotating fulcrum, and having a conveying guide for conveying the paper in cooperation with the paper feeding unit 28.
