PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust measuring method for a shield machine cutter driving rotary ring and its device capable of detecting the actual load of the axial thrust force generated on a cutter driving rotary ring by excavation reaction, maintaining the rigidity of a bearing section high, detecting the distribution of the actual load of the axial thrust force, operating a shield machine independently of experience by quantitatively displaying and recording the axial thrust force applied to the rotary ring, and approaching the realization of the complete automation of the shield machine. SOLUTION: An integrated load detector 6 formed into a hollow cylindrical shape is fitted to the rear section of the outer wheel of the cutter driving rotary ring 3, and the thrust load applied to the cutter driving rotary ring 3 at the stationary section of a rotary shaft system is detected. The load detector 6 is provided with a hollow cylindrical main body 6a pinched between the rear section of the outer wheel of the cutter driving rotary ring 3 and the stationary section of the rotary shaft system concentrically with the cutter driving rotary ring. The main body has a plurality of cylinder holes at intervals in the peripheral direction, and load sensors 6 individually detecting the loads in the axial direction are fitted on the inside of the cylinder holes. |
