PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly set the rapier band at the warp opening and the bottom surface of the rapier head by keeping the contact with the warp when the warp opening is closed, in order to solve the problems in the conventional techniques. SOLUTION: The weft carrier in the rapier loom according to this invention comprises the rapier head and the band that is set to the rapier head and the bottom face of the rapier head is arranged so that it may cross the band bottom face in the widthwise direction in the weft carrier that is set so that the bottom face of the band may come upper than the bottom face of the rapier head.
