PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having high reliability in which deterioration in the connecting state in a high temperature and high humidity environment is prevented and a good connecting state is obtained without causing functional failure. SOLUTION: A semiconductor device 1 having bumps 5a, 5b is disposed with an anisotropic conductive adhesive sheet 3a having a larger dimension than the outer dimension in the longitudinal and lateral direction of the semiconductor device 1 interposed on the electrode pattern 5a, 5b of a substrate 4a in the peripheral part of a liquid crystal panel. The sheet 3a is pressed and heated so that the anisotropic conductive adhesive sheet 3a is molten and stuck to cover from the mount face of the substrate 4a to the side face of the semiconductor device 1.
