PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make not only an entire-surface display but also a partial surface display possible in the display of a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 11 constituting a display part 1 is formed by using a first liquid crystal panel part 11a and a second liquid crystal panel part 11b used for an entire-screen display together with the first liquid crystal panel part or independently used for a priority screen display. The light source is constituted of fluorescent tubes 4a and 4b for irradiating the first liquid crystal panel part and LEDs 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e and 5f for irradiating the second liquid crystal panel part.
