PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of arranging light quantity on a surface to be scanned in terms of respective light beams even when the deflecting directions of plural light beams are different from each other with simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this optical scanner for scanning the surface to be scanned by deflecting plural light beams emitted from a light source by a deflector, the deflecting direction of at least one light beam out of plural light beams is different from the deflecting direction of any other light beam. In the scanner, an optical device arranged on an optical path is inclined to an optical axis so as to correct the difference of the light quantity on the surface to be scanned by the difference of the deflecting direction between plural light beams.
