PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe-quality determining apparatus, by which whether the outside diameter of the molded end part of a pipe having the molded end part is within a tolerance can be easily determined. SOLUTION: In the pipe-quality determining apparatus which determines the molding quality of the pipe (1), having the molded end part (1a), a first sandwiching part (2) and a second sandwiching part (3), which can sandwich and hold the pipe from both end sides of the pipe and which can sandwich and open the pipe are provided. The first sandwiching part is provided with a first contact part (21a), with which the molded end part comes into contact when the outside diameter of the molded end part has a size in a prescribed range, a second contact part (21b), with which the molded end part comes into contact when the outside diameter of the molded end part is larger than the size in the prescribed range, a hole part (21c), through which the molded end part can be passed when the outside diameter of the molded end part is smaller than the size in the prescribed range and a rod-shaped member (22). The prescribed interval between a first detection part (24a) and a second detection part (24b) is set, in such a way that the prescribed part of the rod-shaped member is situated between the first detection part and the second detection part, when the outside diameter of the molded end part has the size in the prescribed range.
