PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of delayed water temperature rise, even when hot water is re-supplied in a small quantity, after supply of a large amount of hot water is in a state in which incoming water temperature is high. SOLUTION: A water heater has a function of delaying the heating starting time, after supply of hot water according to an incoming water temperature, a heat exchanger temperature, and a flow rate. This constitution enables prevention of delayed water temperature rise and the execution of further safe hot water supply operation.
