PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize corrugated cardboards as material for constructing a residence means for outdoor leisure or for emergency use, etc., owing to the advantages of corrugated cardboards being lightweight, low-cost and easy to process; and enable repeated use of the means by improving corrugated cardboards as to waterproofness, mechanical strength, and interconnectability which have been considered as the drawbacks of corrugated cardboards. SOLUTION: The collapsible, transportable residence means is constructed by assembling and interconnecting house component elements such as wall sections and a ceiling section constructed of water-proofed sheets of corrugated cardboards. The component elements are detachably interconnected by use of detachable joint members 21 capable of detachably interconnecting the end edges of the elements. The joint member comprises two interconnected clamping parts 22 each comprising two clamping pieces arranged in opposite relation, with a predetermined gap therebetween; the end edges of two of the component elements to be interconnected are clamped and held by the clamping parts.
