PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that it is necessary to inspect that soil has been sufficiently sterilized down to a specified depth when an infectant is mixed with soil and that gas having a disinfectant effect has been sufficiently dissipated from the sterilized soil and it is required in management to carry out complicated works as to each container contains which part of soil although these inspections have been carried out on the basis of the fact that examination seeds of white ladish germinate, hence, soil at every depth has been taken into respective containers so far. SOLUTION: A seeder tape to which examination seeds are attached at every specified distance is set to the soil sampling device 1 composed of a closed end cylindrical body provided with the bottom 21 and the device is inserted into soil to get soil at every depth from an opening 22 into a soil sampling section 1.
