PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problem that the conventional tools tend to give an impact to an optical connector on the occasion of attaching/detaching, that leads to the generation of a signal transmission loss. SOLUTION: The clip attaching/detaching tool for attaching/detaching a clip 3, which has a couple of clamps 2 for clamping two optical connectors 1, to the optical connectors 1 has a handling part 4, an opening/closing part 5, which opens/closes with handling the handling part 4, and a couple of opening/closing claws 6, which opens/closes with the motion of the opening/closing part 5. Handling the handling part 4 with placing the opening/closing claws 6 inside the clamps 2 enables the opening/closing claws 6 to push and open the clamps 2 outward and attach/detach the clip 3 to/from the optical connectors 1.
