PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous body having a high heat resistance, fine cell structure and low dielectric constant. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the porous body of the present invention is characterized in that a polymer composition having a micro phase separation structure, in which a non-continuous phase having a mean diameter of less than 10μm is dispersed in a continuous phase of the polymer, is made porous by heating under a reduced pressure to remove the component forming the non-continuous phase. The method can efficiently give a porous body having a mean foam diameter of less than 5μm and a dielectric constant of 3 or less.
