<p>PURPOSE: To provide a multiscreen display which can make a screen of large display region into higher quality by judging the size of the display region of each screen. CONSTITUTION: A multiscreen display is equipped with a selector 5 which selectively switches the input of a main image and a sub image, a main screen processor 6 which processes the signals of the main image and the sub image and outputs a high-quality main image or sub image processing signal, a sub screen processor 9 which processes the signal of the sub image or the main image and outputs a low-quality sub image or main image processing signal, a digital operation processor 12 which performs multiscreen processing using the main image and sub image processing signals, a selector 15 which selectively switches the digital processing to the main image and sub image processing signals of the digital operation processor 12, and a microcomputer 4 which performs the switching control of the selectors 5 and 12 for processing an optional screen with a processing system of good picture quality.</p> |
