PURPOSE: To allow efficient data transmission without obstructing other users. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal 1 transmits to a base station 2 an uplink data amount of the uplink data to be transmitted from the mobile terminal 1 to the base station 2. The base station 2 adds the number of uplink channels corresponding to the uplink data amount to the base channel for allocation to the terminal unit 1. The mobile terminal unit 1 transmits the uplink data 7 to the base station 2 utilizing the uplink channel. The allocation is not executed when the uplink data amount has not exceeded a threshold value. The base station 2 adds to the base channel a number of downlink data corresponding to the downlink data amount of the downlink data 41 to be transmitted from the base station 2 to the terminal unit 1 for allocation to the base station 2 and then transmits the data 41 to the terminal unit 2 utilizing an downlink channel. The base station 2 transmits a large amount of data at high speed in a suitable manner using a channel available and after completing the transmission opens the channel at once for a high speed communication by other user. With this, a lot of users are allowed to communicate at high speed. |
