摘要 PURPOSE: A display device is provided to perform clear multi-level color display by preventing the difference in the intensity of radiation even tough the same voltage signal is inputted. CONSTITUTION: A display device includes a source signal line drive circuit(102), a gate signal line drive circuit(103), a pixel block(101), and a plurality of pixels(104) controlled by at least one of the plurality of gate signal lines. Each of the pixels(104) includes a first switching TFT, a second switching TFT, an erasure TFT, a TFT for driving an electroluminescence(EL) and an EL element. The switching of the erasure TFT is controlled by the voltage of a kth gate signal line and the switching of the first switching TFT is controlled by the voltage of a (k+1)th gate signal line. The voltage of a (k+2)th gate signal line controls the switching of the second switching TFT. When the first and second switching TFTs are turned on, a digital video signal is inputted to the gate electrode of the TFT for driving the EL and the switching of the TFT for driving the EL is controlled by the video signal. When the erasure TFT is turned on, the TFT for driving the EL is turned off. When the TFT for driving the EL is turned on, the EL element emits light, and when the TFT is turned off, the EL does not emit light.
