摘要 PURPOSE: A No.7 message processing method in a switching system is provided to increase a message processing rate by reducing a load of a processor performing a No.7 message processing by simplifying a message processing procedure by using a polling method without using an OS queue in processing the No.7 message. CONSTITUTION: A signaling system No.7 handling card(SHPC) inspects an input message buffer in the unit of 8ms by signal terminals by using a polling method(300), and checks whether there is a received message in the signal terminals(302). If there is a received message in the signal terminals, the SHPC stores the message in a local receiving buffer(304). The SHPC transmits the message to a message transmitting unit for discriminating, distributing and routing processing(306). A destination exchange of the message is analyzed by an MTP(308). According to the destination exchange analysis, if the destination exchange is a local exchange(310), the MTP inspects an SIO field of the message and detects a corresponding user part(312). The MTP transmits the received message to the corresponding user part(314). If the destination exchange is a remote exchange(316), the MTP determines a signal link for the corresponding destination signal point and transmits the message to the corresponding station(318). The MTP displays a receiving buffer flag of the signal terminal as unused(320).
