PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maximum charge/discharge electric-power calculating system for improved power calculation precision. SOLUTION: This is related to a maximum charge/discharge electric-power calculating system which repeats a sampling measurement and a power calculation following it. A sampling capacity Cx is so set that change in release voltage of a buttery is almost constant from starting through end of sampling measurement regardless of SOC, based on the release voltage provided by power calculation before the sampling measurement. By setting the sampling capacity Cx for each sampling measurement, variation in sampling data is suppressed to small even if the SOC is a small discharge end, for improved calculation precision at power calculation.
