PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonhalogen rubber modified styrene based resin composi tion excellent in heat resistance and having a high flame-retardant property. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition comprises (A) a resin component (component A) mainly comprising an organic polymer especially styrene based resin and (B) an organophosphorus compound (component B) including at least 30 wt.% of a specific cyclic organophosphorus compound and including 1-70 pts.wt. of the component B per 100 pts.wt. of the component A.
