PURPOSE: A transgenic tobacco restraining toxic substances of tobacco is provided, thereby suppressing toxicity of nicotine, nitrosamine and the like therein. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant vector pBIstsyv1 contains anticancer resveratrol gene isolated from Vitis vinifera x Vitis labrusca, and having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1. The transformed Agrobacterium LBA4404/pBIstsyvl (KCCM-10284) is produced by inserting the recombinant vector pBIstsyv1 into Agrobacterium LBA4404. The transformed tobacco is produced by transforming tobacco with the transformed Agrobacterium LBA4404/pBIstsyvl (KCCM-10284).
