<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly fix a column on a column base member without causing a rickety motion by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In a column base structure connecting a handrail support column 3 with the column base member 2 fixed and embedded in a floor surface 1, the column base member 2 is provided with a fitting shaft part 2j, a face receive part 2f, and an anchor part 2u, a female screw member 5 is fixed on the fitting shaft part 2j by welding it, a locking projection 6 is provided in an abutment part 2f, and a fitting hole 3h and a through hole (p) are formed in the handrail support column 3. The fitting hole 3h of the handrail support column 3 is fitted in the fitting shaft part 2j of the column base member 2 to restrain the movement of a lower end part of the handrail support column 3 by the locking projection 6, and a connection bolt 11 inserted through the through hole (p) is screw-fitted in the female screw member 5 to tighten and fix it.</p> |
