PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a felt for papermaking capable of keeping the excellent elasticity. SOLUTION: This felt for papermaking is characterized as comprising (2) a substrate and (3) a batt layer and arranging (5) a film layer provided with (4) protruding ridge parts having directional properties in the CMD direction and formed in the substrate layer (2) or the batt layer (3) or between the batt layer (3) and the substrate layer (2). The felt is composed so that the felt can smoothly be traveled without stretching the film layer (5) and is not flattened by compression fatigue repetitively received under strong nip pressurization even when the felt is bent and traveled in a paper machine. |
