PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain knitted fabrics which have wide application fields for clothes, clothing and industrial textile, have improved elongation and elongation recovery in comparison with conventional knitted fabrics, high washing fastness and antimicrobial properties. SOLUTION: The objective polyester knitted fabric includes >=10 wt.%, based on the whole weight of the fabric, of longitudinally side-by-side conjugated filaments of two kinds of polyester polymers and characteristically contains an antimicrobial agent with the inorganicity/organicity value of 0.3-1.4.
