<p>A handle protective strap comprises two strap bodies 12,14, one strap body having an outer surface 14b of greater friction than the other 12b and both spirally wound in parallel and secured around a handle by their inner surfaces 12a, 14a. Optionally the strap may be secured to the handle by double sided adhesive tape 18 and thread (16, fig.2) maybe used to fasten the edges of the strap bodies together. Preferably one of the strap bodies is made of a foamed polymer (eg. polyvinyl chloride, ethylene vinyl acetate or polyurethane) containing granules 14' and a woven or nonwoven cloth. The foamed polymer can also have granules attached to its surface.</p> |
