METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING DATA AND DATA INFORMATION IN UTRAN

PURPOSE: A method for transferring data and data information in a UTRAN(UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network) is provided to transmit a value, generated at a hybrid ARQ(Automatic Repeat reQuest) indicator generator, together when data and data information are transmitted from an RLC(Radio Link Control) layer to a MAC(Media Access Control) layer. CONSTITUTION: If a call is connected, initialization is executed(501). If the call is a call using hybrid ARQ type II/III(502), an ARQ indicator generator is initialized(503). An RLC processor receives data from an upper layer(504). The RLC processor checks whether the type of the received data is traffic data(505). If the type of the data is traffic data, the RLC processor creates an information portion in the data(506). The ARQ indicator generator generates an ARQ indicator value(507). The RLC processor adds the ARQ indicator value to the data and the information portion of the data(508). The data made in the RLC processor are transferred to a user through a lower layer(512).
