PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forced lubrication device of a high pressure plunger pump for preventing seizure of a bearing part and a cam for heat generation of slide bearings or increase of injection pressure of the high pressure plunger pump and seizure of a sliding part between a cam outer ring and a pump plunger, when the bearing part of an input shaft is lubricated by fuel oil. SOLUTION: A feed fuel passage 8 is provided with a fuel oil supply pump 12 for supplying excessive fuel oil than an amount required for suction of the high pressure plunger pump. The fuel oil is supplied through a feed fuel passage 8' branched from the feed fuel passage 8, an oil passage 32a disposed in one 32 of the slide bearings 31 and 32 disposed on the input shaft 3 for supporting both sides of the cam 4, and an oil communicating passage 34 disposed in the input shaft 3 to the other 31 of the slide bearings and a slide bearing 33 for the cam disposed in the cam 4. |
